Demo Environment Terms

SanctiKey, LLC · Document Version: 1.2 · Last Reviewed: August 2, 2026 · Effective Date: August 2, 2026

1. Purpose

SanctiKey offers a free demonstration environment (the "Demo Environment") so prospective customers can evaluate the Service before subscribing. These Demo Environment Terms supplement the Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, which apply in full to Demo Environment use. Where these terms conflict with any other SanctiKey document, these terms control for the Demo Environment only.

2. How the Demo Environment Differs from the Service

The paid Service provisions each customer into a dedicated, single-tenant AWS account. The Demo Environment is the sole exception to that model:

  • The Demo Environment is a shared, continuously operated environment in a dedicated demonstration AWS account. Demo users share underlying infrastructure. What you receive is a demo account inside that environment, not an environment of your own.
  • Demo users are isolated from one another at the application layer: no demo user can view, list, or access another demo user’s keys, configuration, or activity, and personally identifying scopes are withheld.
  • The single-tenant, dedicated-account protections described in the Security Policy and Business Continuity and Keyout Policy do not apply to the Demo Environment. The Keyout right does not apply to demo accounts.

3. Limits and Duration

  • Automatic deletion of your demo account: Your demo account, and all keys, configuration, and data in it, are automatically and permanently deleted 14 days after that account is created. Deletion is irreversible. The Demo Environment itself is shared and continuously operated; what is deleted is your account within it, not the environment.
  • One demo account per email address: Each email address is entitled to one demo account. Plus-addressed variants of an address ("+" modifiers) are not accepted at signup. The sole exception is a technical problem attributable to SanctiKey that prevented evaluation, and outside your control; contact support and SanctiKey may issue a replacement demo account at its discretion.
  • Reduced limits: Demo accounts receive a fixed, non-expandable allocation (limited keys and a total operation budget) sufficient for evaluation only.
  • No SLA: The Service Level Agreement does not apply to the Demo Environment. The Demo Environment may be modified, suspended, reset, or discontinued at any time without notice.
  • No support commitments: Support for demo accounts is best-effort.

4. Prohibited Demo Use

You may not use the Demo Environment:

  • For production workloads or to protect real, sensitive, or regulated data. Submit only test data.
  • To circumvent limits by creating multiple demo accounts, including by signing up with plus-addressed or otherwise modified variants of an address already used, or with additional addresses under your control.
  • In any manner prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy.

SanctiKey may terminate any demo account immediately for violation of these terms.

5. Transition to a Paid Subscription

Demo accounts do not convert in place. On subscribing, a dedicated single-tenant AWS account is provisioned for you and the full Service protections attach from that point. Demo data is not migrated.
